# Why are some fields empty?

> Fix CMS field mapping issues when publishing visibility-optimized content.

When publishing content from Krastie to your CMS, empty fields usually mean a mapping mismatch between Krastie document fields and your CMS structure.

## Check field mapping

1. Open **Integrations** and select your connected CMS.
2. Review each field mapping — title, body, slug, meta description, and custom fields.
3. Confirm the CMS field names match what your content type expects.

## Common causes

* **Wrong content type** — The integration points to a CMS content type that does not include the fields you are trying to fill.
* **Renamed CMS fields** — Fields changed in your CMS after the integration was set up.
* **Required vs. optional** — Some CMS fields are required but not mapped in Krastie.

Remap fields and republish the document. If issues persist, contact [info@krastie.ai](mailto:info@krastie.ai).
